Data protection declaration

Thank you for your interest in our website. Protecting your personal data is very important to us and we would like to tell you here about data protection in our company. We comply with the legal provisions of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG), the German Teleservices Act (TMG) and other data protection provisions.

You can trust us with your personal data. Your personal information is encoded by digital security systems and transferred to us. Technical systems protect our websites against damage, destruction or unauthorised access.

Scope of data protection

Data protection protects personal data. According to §3 sub-section 1 BDSG personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, information such as your name, postal address, email address or telephone number, and possibly also usage data such as your IP address.

Data collection and storage

There is generally no need to provide personal data to use our website. However, in order for us to offer our services, we do sometimes require your personal data. This applies when sending information or goods you have ordered, or when answering your individual questions.

When we need to send the goods you have ordered or perform a service, we collect and store your personal data only in as far as we require the data to provide the service or execute the contract. This may make it necessary to forward your personal data to companies we use to provide services or process orders. These companies include, for example, freight companies or other service providers. If we perform one of the following activities or any other miscellaneous activity or service and intend to gather and store your personal data, we will request your explicit consent at the relevant location on our website:

  • Sending you our newsletter

  • Credit or age verification to enable our services or payment transactions
  • Personalising our website
  • Other services and offers requiring your explicit consent that we may collect your personal data.

After completing your order, your data are blocked and then deleted after tax and commercial regulations are complied with, providing you have not explicitly approved further use of your data.

If you have registered your email address to receive our newsletter, we will use your email address to send our newsletter as well as using it for our own advertising purposes until you notify us you no longer wish to receive our newsletter.

The information on how you use our website generated by this text file is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google uses this information to analyse how you use our website and compiles reports on website activity for the website provider, as well as offering other services related to website use and internet use. In as far as required by law or if third-parties process these data on behalf of Google, Google will pass on this information to third-parties. This information is anonymised or pseudoymised.
